There are a few. In fact, more than a few, I'd say.

Escort RS Turbo, for one.

Nissan 350z

Engine Size: 3498 cc
Cylinders: 6
0-60 mph: 5.7 secs
Top Speed: 155 mph
Power Output: 276 bhp
Valves: 24
Torque: 363 Nm 268 lb-ft

Unless you're in something a lot more powerful than standard, I don't think you'd be showing one a clean pair of heels.

They aren't slow by any means and I know that from personal experience.

Oh I raced a bright yellow z4 (I think) who spanked it past me down an a road. He pulled into the next lane to me at the lights. Left him for dust and I mean dust might as well have been a corsa

I think you'll find that most things will struggle to stay with one down a country road.

Funny though. A mate had one for a couple of years. Took it to a track day at Brands then drove it all the way to the 'ring and got round there a few times unscathed.

Comes home, decides he wants a track car so buys an old classic WRX. Bins it within the first week.

Rover 200 Tom Cat turbo was a decent bit of kit in it's day, CRX was a pretty decent go cart too.
