Default Help having problem fitting k&n induction kit

I have a 1994 subaru impreza wrx I have a td05 top entry turbo and a fmic I bought a k&n 57i induction kit as it was the closest thing I could get. I went to fit the filter, bolted the maf to it got a silicone joiner and a silicone t piece for the big breather that went to the expansion box and I can't seem to get it to fit inside the gap it's just to long, if that breather can go the atomsphere I could get it to fit, does anyone know if it can?

Only pic I have put you can see were I need to fit and the big breather pipe
