Anyone heading up/down to the NEC this weekend?

Hoping to do the Sunday myself. Good show to start the year off for those who have never been before.

 

Never been before always intended to may be going on trade day Thursday or Friday.

 

I'll be there on Sunday.

Hi guys never been to one before is there an entrance fee and what time does it open or close etc please a bit more info as would really like to go it'll make a nice day out

 

Scoobyclinic will be there with their rally and gymkhana cars. I know that a few from Midlands Scoobies are gonna be heading to this event too.

Went yesterday, first time I had been but enjoyed the show, chatted to a few owners on the Type RA stand as well, Live Action show was entertaining.

 

£45 for one person, inc parking?
Not for me.

Good day, had a long chat with Mr Cobra of Cobra seats. Very nice and helpful guy, a company I hope to have dealings with in the future.

Class 1 autograss cars were as bonkers as previous years in the live action arena.

 

Ouch! that's 10 days worth of never never in a new car.

 

Was a good show with lots to see. I found a deal online so entrance was only £17, the car park charge of £12 is an absolute pi55 take though in my opinion.

Didn't take many pics but this is a nice image I got of an RCM engine..

 

Did anybody get any goodies??? Got any more pics guys?

Goodies as in freebies? I managed to scoop up 4 lanyards, 8 key rings, 7 pens, 5 stickers, a torch, a 3D printed clamp and probably some more stuff lol.

As for photos, I took some, although when I was there on Thursday morning there was still a lot to happen by the looks of things.

Whose was this? Stood and looked at it for a bit on Sunday, is it a version 2 sti type ra?

Wrong engine obviously but very clean none the less.

 

It's owned by a member from typera.com, he doesn't frequent this place as far as I know.

It's a my97 STI RA. What do you mean, wrong engine ???

 

Completely wrong car lol.

 

That pic is from Autosport 2014, not this year & the car is an STi RA V3 not a V2 but the engine is 100% correct
