Default UK Spec V US SPEC

Hi

I have a hawk sti and was just wondering are many parts common to both specs. Now I know the steering wheel and pedals are the wrong way around . Are colours the same, some parts etc. Im looking at a fog light kit on subarugenuineparts.com.

Thanks

Personally - if I could swap the front fog lights I've had on every car I've ever owned fo a pair of spots then I would have done it in a heartbeat if the price was right. I can count on one hand how many times I could (legally) use fog lights in the last 3 years!

Never really use mine but in theory they can be used any time visibility is 100 metres or less. 100 metres is a big distance so there are many many times times I could have "legally" used mine if I wanted. Iaw says nothing about it having to actually be foggy

Your interpretation of the law is somewhat questionable!
The law states that there must be seriously reduced visibility so the cover of night doesn't really come under that as your headlights and main beam will be able to light the way comfortably. If this isn't the case then you need to look at your headlights.
Front fog lights are only useful for the 10-15m in front of your car anyway.

My fog lights come on when turning a corner.
Only one side.
It's a vw/audi feature

Aren't Subaru's lower lights called driving lamps, if they are then they're not really fog lights, so not strictly covered by the law on front fog lights.

Mine too, due to the fact my headlight brackets need replacing means I can see where I'm going.

The fog lights in a Hawkeye are smaller than the Blob, more like running lights than anything else.
