IMO the hawk jdm is a better car. If that's your budget then check this one out.

Not heard of bpp though. Google doesn't throw anything bad up.

Bought my Hawk STi from them when they first opened a few years ago, they seemed nice lads, and the car was spot on with no problems so never had to go back, but they seem to have had a few nice cars come up for sale the last few months!!!

Traded my DC5 in for my hawk STI 2 years ago and had no trouble at all. Nice guys and had plenty of decent motors when I was down.

Was it a red DC5???

Remember seeing a lovely red DC5 down there when I bought my hawk STi and I was tempted to not bother with the Impreza and take the DC5 home!!!

Having had both, a X 360 and JDM Hawk I can honestly say that the Hawkeye was a better and more reliable car.

My previous JDM was bought by BPP too, top guys I'd say!

Why do you prefer the Scooby over the Evo X. I thought the Evo is a better car than the Scooby, its quicker and the handling is supposed to be close to the Nissan GTR. Also I assume they have good reliability and servicing is every 12 months as opposed to the 9 which is every 6 months.

I preferred the Scooby over the X. The X drove nice but it was just 1 problem after another.

The 9 is a different animal though if you get the right one. But a nice 9 will cost more than 14k!

I found the Scooby better for the daily grind.

What did you think of the sound of the X, they sound quite bland compared to the Scooby and also they look like a normal saloon car, not very road rally car like the scoob.
Im mainly looking at the fq300- fq340.

I had a X 360 but was remapped, stainless exhaust, decat and so on, sounded quite nice tbh but the JDM Scooby have more of a unique roar!

Looks wise I prefer the Scooby over a X.

There a few 9s on market but a lot of bad examples so you have to be careful!

Let me know if you need any help

Not the only one, I prefer the Subaru over the Evo, I find the Evo quite boring tbh, Not saying its a bad car, it just doesn't excite me like the Subaru, but thats just down to personal opinion, Some people buy Evo's and never look back.

The hawk JDM is going for £14k with 60k miles, does the price seem reasonable as I was mainly looking for another widetrack blob sti with no mods as you can imagine is hard to come by which has been my main focus so have not paid much attention to the JDM cars although I am aware of their superior spec.

Price doesn't seem bad but like any garage there will be slight wiggle room!

I'm sure they have a low mileage Widetrack too so worth a look I'd say

I preferred the JDM to the UK but that's just my personal opinion!
