Returning member, advice & opinions
Hi guys
Going to be coming back to the fold in the new year, had a v5 STi type RA couple of years ago but like the look of a blob STi this time round.
I'd be aiming for around 350bhp with similar torque and it would be a weekend car with probably a track day thrown in.
Question is, would I be better off with a JDM over a UK to get to this level and would the same modifications be needed on both models?
Reason being is that UK cars seem a lot more common, I'd have a budget of around £7.5k maybe a tad more so be looking around 03-04 model, wide track is out of budget I believe.
Any advice welcomed, thanks for reading

You should achieve those figures on both JDM & UK models with little fuss, given the cars are heathy.
JDM's are probably the ones to go for with a few extras like higher rev limit, twin scroll, etc..That being said 7.5k might be a tad low for a blob JDM but you might find a higher mileage example for around that.
Widetracks have shot up in price over the last few years so you might struggle as you said.
