Warning to all, do not use this company for garage equipment,
I unfortunately did when I bought a two post lift from them.

Lift arrived, and when the company I paid to install it (different company to automotech and nothing at all to do with automotech)were about to fit the pump/motor they discovered it was 3 phase when I ordered a single phase lift.
A correct pump was sent out the next week.

My issue is I wanted some kind of reimbursement for the extra cost in getting lift installers back out to complete the install.
Upon contacting automotech regarding this, they just said no sorry.
I find this totally unacceptable and the extra cost should not be mine. They supplied the wrong item, I have all emails regarding the sale of the lift and as far as I am concerned they should foot the bill or at least contribute to it..

So be warned, stay well clear of these cowboys.

Ive dealt with these recently to order gaskets for my boss equipment compressor, i had no trouble with them tbh, although i did have to phone them on 3 occasions as i never got a call back everytime they said they would. I found phoning them to the point of nagging worked, try phoning again and speak to someone else.

Have you still got the 3ph motor or did you return it?

I did call and speak to them, they flatly refused to consider anything.

I had to return 3phase motor to get the correct single phase..

I agree you should be compensated for their error and with all due respect having to ring and nag a supplier would mean no repeat business from me.

Yeah i agree, but they were the only company i could get the gaskets from, as theyre the only supplier for the compressor i could find.
