Default lack of power

Can someone help me? My cars been in the garage because my car was kinda of missfiring and when putting my foot down there nothing there. I was told the maf sensor had gone under the diagnostics so i changed it and the spark plugs were changed. its running a little better, (no engine light on now) but still not to its full potential. What else could it be? I was told the lambda sensor aswel might need changing? Im after some other opinions please. Cheers
