Importing companies in Japan - Rush Corp
Hi,
It's been a good 10 years since I had my Classic V2 STI and I really want another classic.
I'm going to have about £5-£6k to spend and I'm pretty much set on getting one from Japan.
I've been in contact with a company called Rush Corp who look over the cars in Japan and sort everything out for you. On top of the raw auction price of the car, they add around 200,000 Yen for fees, de-registration, paperwork and delivery to the Japanese docks.
Has anybody imported using Rushcorp? Or, can anybody recommend a company they have dealt with?
Thanks,
Nick.

The thing is, he'll add on his extra bit for doing it all. I'd rather find somebody in Japan and cut the costs right down so I could get a better car for my money. If so, I may even try and import to sell a few cars a year. Will have to see how it goes first!
So anybody got somebody in Japan they could recommend?

BraveAuto... your budget is unrealistic for a good one at Grade 4/3.5 I bid on a 3.5 grade RA a few weeks ago and backed out at 5k landed. It went for 7k landed. I bid on a later RA 2 weeks ago that went for 3k more than that !!! You can find them but be careful what you buy. It's best to scour the auctions in tandem with an importer rather than take whats on offer as they could be any grade fixer uppers

My mate part owns an import company and has just returned from a 2 week trip to Japan to see how it all works at each stage. I think it's a fairly new company but seen a lot of great reviews on Facebook etc and Dave always was a good guy.
They're called OPJP IMPORTS. May be worth a phone call.
Cheers Tom.
