anyone recommend anywhere that service and repair turbos?

Ive got 2 spare turbos i dont want any come backs so was thinking of getting them checked first before advertising ?

OR

Its nothing fancy just a TD05 and a VF28

Vf28 is a ballbearing turbo so theres very little to check other than for high amounts of shaft play or wastegate cracks (more common on vf34, 35, 43) Typically sell for £150-200 in good order

You'd need to be more specific on the td05, if its a standard subaru unit then again, check for shaft play etc. If its an aftermarket unit then manufacturer, size (16g, 18g, 20g) and quality dictate the price. Price also depends on wether its top or front entry.

If you dont have any expectations on how much you want then I'd sell them "as is" with decent pics/description. If you want them checked you'll be spendin money to make money but would have better peace of mind.

If you're on facetube contact Craig Bellworthy or give Central Turbos, Derby a call.
