Rough price to rebuild engine on this?

Realistically what you looking at for the proper forged rebuild the car should of always started with?
£3000 unrealistic?

Not about profit for me on this. Just want an honest car that I know what's gone into it. Got to be worth 11-12k with forged build so should leave a little bit of margin for anything else (clutch/remap) etc etc.
I've offered him £6500 but no reply, he probably wants something silly like £9000 for it
