Car seat in newage sti
Hi all
My daughter has now outgrown her baby seat so i am now looking for one to suit 9 months to 4 years.
Tried some today and none of them fit my blob sti, the woman in mothercare suggested Recaro.
I've searched through snet and all information is from very old posts.
Any you guys recommend for newage?
Thanks Luke

We tried a brittax one (well my wife did!!!!) It didnt fit and woman did say possibly maxi cosi or recaro, i just wanted to know what people on here are using as theres not that many to physically try in shops ive been too so might have to order online?
I must admit i did find it strange as its four door saloon car not two door sports car
Thanks Luke

I have a rear facing besafe combi x3 in my newage blob wrx. Very good safety reviews, recaro didn't rank that highly

I did think i must be able to change the seats or something to convert to isofix but i was led to believe it wasnt possible which i thought was strange as thought it must be bolted on in some way, any other info with this i would be gratefull unless there is no info other than bolt out bolt in etc

Had a look our was the maxi cosi Priori SPS
I wouldnt worry too much about isofix points not all cars are tested on this in the crash test anyway, youll also find the government and which testing completely different. Which is alot better so use that as a guide.
Our seat was a belt in version, which can be really pulled down solid.
Id say thats a great option for you,
Were now into the child seat, for my boy whos nearly 4, thats even harder to find a good seat.
Hth.
