As per the title got some used headers/manifold that are going to be fitted to my car in the near future they are heatwrapped at the moment but it's loose and falling off so going to re apply some new stuff but want to get good stuff, so what should I buy and what do you use to attach it to the headers/manifold?

 

DEI heatwrap! Quality stuff and good to work with.
Don't buy cheap heatwrap

 

Get yourself some stainless lock wire and a pair of lockwire pliers.

 

Any DEI heatwrap off eBay be ok?

 

Yep should do the trick I used loads about 70m I think on the headers. I wrapped every single runner from the flange right up to the collector, then wrapped the collector up to the turbo flange, applied it wet with a large overlap

Some people wrap 2 runners at a time, in pairs. It's a hell of a lot quicker, easier and uses loads less wrap.

 

I like this stuff, I would say it is better then dei titanium.

the company uses the same fibre strand as the dei, but it is woven in the uk, and is a tighter weave.
