I have had the BOV taken off my car and I am going to stick it on ebay. However I am more than aware that there are a lot of fakes floating around. I have read the spot a fake guide but does this one appear to be real or fake (so I can adjust the price accordingly)

 

Looks real too me. R after hks logo flange looks genuine..

But what happend to it?? Looks like its been threw a few washing machine cycles!

 

Good question. I really don't know. It came on the car and I am not one for BOVs so I had it replaced with the correct stock part.

 

Its fake. The flange is an ebay unit and the vacuum pipe is too short.

Very simple to spot, plus that code on the bottom of the unit by the valve is the same on all the China SSQV's.
