Hi. I have a stage 1 wagon as our family daily driver, but fancy a change, and have an opportunity to buy a forged wagon with a sc36; is this a vehicle that we could live with day to day, realistically? Percentage wise, how much more would the insurance go up,ballpark, as a result ? Thanks

an SC36 would be fine day to day (providing its not got an overkill ridiculous clutch fitted)

Only your insurance could tell you about your insurance costs....companies vary so much its impossible to tell

I live with nearly 500 bhp as a daily,that turbo will not be laggy so perfect as a daily, does not matter how much power a car has, if it spools easily and you can control your feet then you will be fine

I find its things like how its mapped and the suspension etc that dictate whether its suitable for a daily drive or not rather than the outright power etc

I have a classic as a daily,forged,sc42 twin scroll and it's a pleasure to drive on all occasions

Got a good price from Sky insurance too,all mods declared
