Look what someone did to my car..
There really are some lovely people out there..
Came back from work last night to find this!
Luckily it was just a sort of sticky water based paint and was removed easily with AutoGlym Tar remover.
No damage to paint thank god!! All cleaned off now and reported to police, but I doubt they have Columbo working on the case..
Just confirms by belief that everything is wrong with this country. Who the f***K does this?! Chav scum t****ers

I'm sorry to hear about that bud. You're a decent guy and I'm sure you don't deserve this.
One thing I will say however is that if no other cars were damaged, it maybe someone you know.

I know, I was just happy that no damage was done and it came off pretty easily with the Tar remove stuff.
I guarantee that if they ever do find who did it then sod all will happen, slap on wrists, community service then on their way to do it again..
After all that time being careful and keeping it in storage I take it out for 3 fekin days and this happens..

I am fairly sure it was someone who used to work for the company I work for, basically she proper had it in for me and made my life living hell, cut a long story short I ended up leaving, she then went sick because she couldn't do the job, Company asked me to come back for more money, I said ok, she then never returns from her sick as she found out I returned.
I would bet everything on it that she masterminded it. I saw her driving up and down my road (she knew where I lived) looking for my car once
Not worth doing anything tho

Don't let it stop you using the car bud. They win when you change your life for them.
I agree, you shouldn't do anything. There is no point in getting in trouble with the police and wrecking your own future.

Sickening....
But from the Police's point of view. They have less and less money each year. They are now openly saying they need the public to choose what they no longer deal with because they can't deal with what they did before due to massive cuts...
From an investigative point of view and even if they wheeled columbo out of retirement what would they do?
If nobody saw who did it and there is no CCTV there is no evidence. This isn't CSI. Simple as that.
If they could prove who did it with miracle CCTV that proves beyond all doubt who it was (rather then the usual blurry figure in a hoodie) they spend a hell of a lot of time getting it to court and the justice system gives a crap punishment.... Sadly that's the world we live in. Garage or risk it, can't afford a garage (I can't) then sadly it's a daily risk you take and the chances of there being any actionable evidence to ENABLE the police to TRY to convince the CPS to prosecute are not worth mentioning.
All that can be done is to report it so the figures show that crime is not in fact falling.
Glad you got it off ok! It's just lucky the person who did it didn't know what they were doing or you could easily write off a car in seconds.
