Differences in blobeye models between years?
Hey guys,
I'm looking at getting a blobeye WRX in the near future (as soon as my current car sells), however, I was wondering if there are any differences in the model between 2003/2004/2005 please? Any facelifts etc?
I'd more than likely be looking at 03/04 models and the only difference I can see is painted skirts. I could be wrong however.
Cheers guys!
Matt

An example was the PPP, unless it's got a certificate and is on the Subaru register it's been added later.
JDM cars came with more good bit's as standard and higher BHP out of the box.

There are some bad ones out there but I was lucky to get mine off somebody I knew and who was decent enough to have the crank sorted when it started knocking shortly before selling it to me at 88000 miles. And kept the price as agreed. Could of been a bad buy for me if I'd raised the money a month earlier.

In 2005, the Blobeye received a minor interior facelift. On the later models, the dash/centre console has a different layout, and the switch packs on the front doors are also different; the switch packs on the later cars are bigger.
If these work, the first link is the original interior, for 2003 and 2004 models, and the second is the facelift interior, for 2005 (and there are actually a few 2006) models.

Thanks very much guys, that's good to know there isn't a great deal of difference other than the dash facelift... Just got to find a stock (or near enough) blue WRX and I'm sorted!
