Default What are Subaru warranty like with fitting used Pro R parts?

Just wondering if I can put a Pro R exhaust or Pro R springs etc. on my 2012 STI without voiding the approved used warranty?

Anybody got any experience of this?

You will void the Warranty because it is not fitted by an approved Garage/fitter etc etc.

Having been around Subaru's for awhile, seen people done dry over the 2.5 engines and seen how IM treat customers then beware.

Cheers. Will the local dealer not fit the parts if asked?

The parts will be classed as secondhand and the Dealer will not take any responsibility. At a push they may if they are receipted as supplied by Subaru UK, are new items and then fitted by them.

I know the parts sold by impartsb46 (Subaru UK clearing their warehouse) on eBay are all sold without warranty.

Sure, cheers.

I guess if I buy the exhaust I'm looking at, I should keep the old one just incase

My local dealer supplies and fits Pro-R parts and claim they do not invalidate warranty, see links...

EDIT - are the parts new or used?

Used mate, so they probably wouldn't fit them or stand by them, which is fair enough. Just thought I'd ask around.
