S206
Hi
Found this S206 for sale whilst having a browse about yesterday :
http://www.motor-hub.co.uk/used-cars...ts?make=SUBARU
Didn't think there were any S206's in the uk up till now ?
They also have 3 x S202's and an S205
Never heard of them but any dealer based in Keighley always seems to ring alarm bells ,maybe unfairly
Cheers
Matt

Its Keighly Import Centre, they have a really bad rep, but they seem to have loads of rare jap imports, just noticed they have a new shape JDM 2015 model STi

To be fair at that price it might be worth the trip and it still has the wheels, which are a must, also I just love black Scoobs so I could overlook a fair bit of cosmetic stuff as long as it's not been wrapped round a tree and the engine isn't knocking, don't mind getting a bit of paint correction done, after all it's a bloody old car at the end of the day.

If I was in the market for a Impreza, I would be tempted to go and have a look though.

Not vouching for ktc/motorhub but ive seen a couple of the cars in flesh, as they use the same garage as me to have the cars service and work done. They look pretty clean and not like the tat they used to sell.
They seem to be getting back into the importing market too, as they had an r32 and r34 gtr at the garage while my car was there

The 2015 JDM Impreza is advertised as a WRX STi S4.
It is either a typo, they don't know what they are selling or it is intentional.
A S4 is "only" a WRX, not STi

They have some impressive stock worth a few million easily.

£38,000 pounds!!!! For a very mildly modified car.........oh well.
I would be looking for a type 25 or a Cosworth or build your own which would be a one-off to your liking.

I knew that s206 was coming in months agai. And whilst I appreciate the yellow s202 my not be styled to everyone's taste. It's a very dedicated circuit car, that would run rings half of the "track cars" on this forum.
Not trying to get anyone's back up here either, just my opinion

I imported mine from the auctions myself using an agent as a 4A Grade pride and joy. Well before the new found obsession with importing them. Cost me a lot of time effort and money to find a quality 202 coming through the auctions. Prior to mine they had all be modified to death or had an auction sheet or auction house I wouldnt buy from. I missed a white one by a few weeks before I started looking which was nice but again modified. This went for over 15k landed. All these 202's and RAs you see at various importers now are imported for maximum profit. These arent hand picked by enthisiasts, they're bought on huge profit margins when you can snag an RA grade for 5k and well under. ! Those 202's from KFC are ragged and rank, trading off a bit of S Series kudos. The yellows go for good money but that is nasty imho. The yellows I've seen in Japan all seen to have sun damaged paint ? Unless it's OEM and mint with a proper Auction Sheet I'm not interested these days

If you want an S202 then your best bet is to get lucky like I did when a good one comes up on these shores.
But it's absolutely worth getting a top graded car and paying the premium for it rather than having something that is just another modified Impreza.
