This may have been covered before but i cant find full info.

Had my Hawk WRX a few years and recently the SAI Pump / Motor has become quite noisy for the first 30 seconds or so - I imagine a bearing etc has gone bad as i assume it shouldnt be auidiable (it hasnt been for the first few years of ownership)

I know people remove the pump and map the fault codes out but can the pumps function be mapped out of the system without removal?
