Default Cusco diff

I'm looking at buying a cusco rear diff for my gc8

Just wondering would I need to put a cusco lsd front diff in aswell or would I be okay with just a rear Cusco one?

Hi mate,

I read the either week that someone on here has got cusco F/R diffs and they are horrible and not very good on the road.

My sister's type R had cusco front and rear diffs and it was very unpleasant at low speed on the road, it now has just the cusco rear diff and whilst it's still very clunky at low speed it's a vast improvement and works very well at speed and it's a better compromise.

you dont need to match diff type front to rear, aslong as ratios are correct taking into drop gears you can do what you like.

If buying a aftermarket part to swap into your rear diff you will need to make sure its for correct housing r160 v r180 and what style shafts it requires for them to snap in.
