Default Thinking of going to have a look at this STi...

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of going to have a look at an STi later today? What are your thoughts? Has anyone seen this car at all or recognise it? I know TSL are not in operation now so what happens with an engine that has warranty on it on a company that carried out the work who is no longer in operation? Any help advice appreciated.

Forged WRX STI Type UK with 2200 miles after rebuild. Engine has 7 month Engine warranty left on it.
Forged engine currently running 277.1bhp & 305 ft lbs of torque with dyno printout.

CP Pistions & Rings
CP Race bearings
Warblo Fuel Pump
TSL Motorsports cat back
TSL Motorsports remap
New radiator
Mishimoto Aluminium overflow tub
New Scoobyworld silicone turbo hoses
New timing belt on rebuild and forge
Full service history
Alpine Head unit
Alpine Speaks in all doors
AA Trackstar Tracker

64,000 Miles on the clock
First service done at 500 miles after rebuild - Rebuild done on 03/2015
MOT expires - 05/2016

my pride and joy always maintained in highest standard regardless of cost
used super unleaded only
full service history
car pulls very hard and has an immaculate amount of torque.

Thanks

Unless the warranty was insurance backed or another company has taken on the warranty, essentially you do not have a warranty.

Looks nice!

TSL have been shut for years, so they wont be the ones holding the warrenty on the engine or have been the ones who built it.

Best find out who built it first

Think id rather have a forged engine with no warranty on it , than constantly being worried if this is the day the engines giving up. Rather simplistic i know, but sometimes you have to chance it if the cars seems a good ne, which it does to me.

Or buy a car claiming to have had an engine rebuilt in 2015 by a company that closed over three years ago?

I smell fish!
