Default Type 25 stuck in limp mode

Please help my type 25 is stuck in limp mode it's getting the O2 sensor replaced today coz there was a fault code a while ago but not now and no management light on now.
How do you reset the ecu and will this loose Litchfields map?
Please help I'm lost without her.
Cheers Mac.

If you do a simple ECU reset it should clear the limp mode and won't wipe the litchfield map. It doesn't over-write it just restarts.

Mine went into limp mode years back and a simple ECU reset sorted it. Been perfect ever since.

Make sure you read all the codes including the stored old codes to make sure nothing else is wrong.

Not all ODB2 readers will allow you to reset the ECU. I know mine doesn't and from a quick check I am not sure your ODB Fusion software allows you to do this either.

Is there any other way than going to a dealer or a mapper

Yes, just find an ODB2 code reader tool that can also reset the ECU. Some can do this.
