These are just a good way to knacker your turbo.

It may be strong but it will still eventually knacker it. As the air rushes back past the spinning blades instead of getting put back into the intake pipe.

Pros: Intercooler stays mostly pressurized between fast shifts giving you better response while accelerating quickly. Loud chirpy noises.

Cons: Makes the car less drivable and a bit jerky rolling on and off the throttle. Increased stress on the turbo. Loud chirpy noises.

I have a sc42+turbo and have been told by many car builders who are far more knowledgeable than I am that it will not damage my turbo. One of those same people said they wrecked a VF turbo's running no BOV.

from what i've read the VF's cant' take the abuse but the TD type turbos can run them fine. Could be related to the higher spin speeds of the VF's ?
