No. Tumbler valve generator delete was on the spec c.
I've had the Tgv removed from my car it's susposed to help reduce the restriction in the inlet manifold and can marginally help to increase power.

Hi there
Yours 2005 STI doesn't have TGV,yours TGV has been removed as on every STI,only WRX does have TGV,which can be restriction beyond 350bhp,under that you shouldn't have any issue
Spec C does have one piece manifold and its TGVless as STI one,just difference between two is JDM Spec C or JDM STI is one piece and UK STI does have two pieces and both are TGVless,main difference between them is too when you fitting larger intake pipe,under JDM intake larger pipe goes lot easier
