I accompanied a mate of mine on an evening track session at Donnington last night, and had eight or so passenger laps in his new TVR Tuscan Speed 6.
All I can say is... that thing is FAST!!
He was taking it very sensibly and smoothly on the corners but we were still topping 130mph under the Dunlop bridge! It was probably the best friday evening out that didn't involve alcohol I've ever had!
Also blagged a few passenger laps in a Lotus Esprit Turbo ('97 model). This thing handled SO nicely, it *really* surprised me how composed it felt on the limit, the guy had it drifting superbly on several occasions, with only one arm twirling *moment* to speak of.
My scoob felt positively pedestrian on the way home! I've just GOT to take my scoob around Donno now, that track is BRILLIANT!

The newer TVR's are damn good cars...might just have myself one one of these days.

Talking about seriously quick.....I drove a Tyrrell F1 car at Mallory Park last year - Jonathan Palmer's 1988 race car - it may be 13 years old, but, 600bhp or so in a shade over 500kg - wet track, cold brakes and tyres (which were semi slick hillclimb tyres) - yeehaa!!!
