Default Rear side window trim

As title, as many other classics, the black trim has started to fade and silver started to come through, can you remove this bit of trim or is it best to try and spray it on the car?

Many thanks
Shaun

Ye you can remove the trim, we did this to my type r an reprinted them, remove the interior pillar panel that continues along the headliner you'll have to unbolt the seatbelt, the trim is held on with short screws if I mind right
