Info about Spec C Type 20
Hello, I'm looking for some info about a car that's up for sale (http://www.williamsmotor.co.uk/subar...morgan-4431021), does anybody know the car?
I think this might have sold last year for around £18k, its exactly what I'm after but I think the price is a bit high.
Thanks
Malcolm

They sell on behalf of customers and you will struggle to get any warranty from the actual company. They have a chequered history and reputation round here.

Its been sold on here twice.
I had correspondence with both owners as I was interested both times but it was just a little to much for me at £18k with one owner never mind 3 now & and an extra £4k.
Should be easy to find as original owner was selling it for a year holding solid on his price. His original add was really detailed.

The original owner had a very detailed history on it and had from new with great Service history. I think it sold in Oct 14.
Second owner added with nice discs & cambelt. Again enthusiast owned albeit for a short time. He sold it on about a month ago.
It would have been in my Garage if I could have got it down to £16-17k.
Will forever be the one that got away.

Looks like he's removed the only T20 badge from the boot.
All the paperwork was provided to the new owner including the original bill of sale from Litchfields.
As Chris said above we 'expected' it to appear for sale at some point.
This is a very, very nice car

On another note, I sold my mint Hawkeye Spec C with 19000kms on 3 years ago for £11800, prices have gone up granted, but not that much.

It's more than what I paid for my Hawkeye Spec C Type RA that only had 5000 miles on so, yes, I'd say it's overpriced. Chris had his pricing spot on.

Chris has an ambition to get involved in motorsport, rather than just doing a few trackdays per year.
He was planning on doing trackdays and selected rounds of timeattack in clubmans class with the T20. That's why as soon as Chris owned it it was at RCM having oil service and belts, brakes were replaced with Performance friction / Pagid, rattling wastegate was sorted with a new genuine actuator, setup was checked at powerstation by the guy that mapped it from new.
After much deliberation he decided that the value of the T20 was in its condition / history and running it in timeattack could seriously affect this.
He therefore decided to sell (and I know he didn't really want to) and buy something cheaper to play with for now.
I'm sure he'll be along to add anything I've missed
If anyone wants to know any specifics about the car drop Chris or myself a PM
