Question

Hi,
I've read a couple of posts where people have said they get clay block from Halfords for a couple of pounds. I can't find them anywhere + get blank looks when I ask.

Has anyone got any ideas where to look??

Thanks

Richard

Cool

They certainly have them in my local branch in Epsom (not really much use to you though) and if I remember correctly they were only £3 each.

I have to say I did buy one, used it for 20 seconds, thought it was crap and threw it into my box of car cleaning stuff. If anybody could offer some advice as to how to use them I would be very grateful!

I got mine from my local Halford in Redhill (Surrey), it was with the car cleaning stuff and on special offer at £3.30 or there abouts. It was in a green/blue cardboard box about the size of a cassette tape (remember those )
I have used it a number of times to get tar off the car and found it to be very good. It says on the box to make sure that the car and block are kept wet, I found it best to use when shampooing and leave it in the bucket of warm water so it is softish when I rub it on the paint work.
