Default 2003 V Limited JDM Sti Best Place to Advertise??

Where is the best place to advertise to sell this? Friend has similar one on Autotrader £8250 but no takers. Is eBay or pistonheads better? I have the 2003 V Limited 45,000 miles superb car 365 bhp - let me know if anyone interested.

IMO Pistonheads, Brought my current one through there and sold my old Scoob on there.

Two people came to view (In a short space of time) both genuine, both wanted it.

I found with Autotrader (Was 5 1/2 years ago) that all I got were scam emails asking to help organise shipping and the buyer would pay over the odds, tire kickers coming to view it, and questions like "Is it fast"

Plus Autotrader was expensive to advertise

No problem mate

I have always found it the best place to look for to buy/sell these kind of cars to/from like minded owners/buyers rather than be in with 1000's of fiestas and corsas etc..

Why not update your earlier for-sale advert on this forum? I thought this car had sold. I would have viewed it if the advertisement indicated it was still for sale, but just yesterday have made a commitment on an another car.

Its acutally a standard STI with some cosmetic bits added, I remember seeing the first 2 in the UK, nice cars especially with the BBS alloys.

OP, Pistonheads has the better clientel, ebay.... probably get more wasters turning up tbh.

Tony is right - the visual changes over the standard sti are cosmetic but under the bonnet things are very different. I believe this is one of the first two to be imported and this one has been well looked after since arriving on these shores.
I will defo go with Piston heads if my mate doesn't buy it - thanks to all contributors.

I would be reluctant to sell it on here for the obvious reason - It will probably go off at a tangent which is not what you would want.

I was in your position last month but opted for Pistonheads due to it being a fraction of the cost in comparison plus I think they are more serious buyers who are on the look out for a performance car.

I was pretty confident that the first person to see the car in person would buy it, which is exactly what happened. Also I decided to add another £500 to the price of the car when I looked at other descriptions/examples on Pistonheads.

Hope this helps.

Nice cars, but a bit much in my own opinion, its still a 12 year old car, I appreciate JDM's demand a premium over the UK car, but thats quite high, Id say £8,5k is about right for that car, but its your car and if you think you can get over £10k then good luck.

If he can't sell his then mine will be available for sale in about 2 - 3 weeks.

That's not a bad price but if it was mine I would tidy the engine bay up a little. I would have thought yours should be worth at least 1500 more due to the mileage rarity wheels and the pretty pink suspension.

A member off here bought it. I was hoping to go and see it myself.
