What's so bad about XXR's
The reason i ask, I know there was a GB last year with a lot of takers.
I've now read numerous posts saying they are cheap rubbish.
Are they poorly made? Weak? Bad paint / powder coat finish on them?
I'm seeing quite a few sets of for sell and pondering on them.
They're to fit a classic so i know i'll need the rear arches rolled. Before anyones asks i need 18's to cover my brakes http://www.powerstation.org.uk/porsche_brakes.asp
Not sure what et i can get away with though

Had two sets of these mate, never had any paint issues or any trouble with them... Nice looking wheel, have to run coilovers, camber bolts, roll arches with a stretch tyre.. Not to everyone's taste and become really common... I wouldt buy another set as there's so many around now.

XXR's and Rotas are fast becoming the lexus lights of the modding world. Everyone who's fitted ABW arches is running them as the ET20-35 offset wheel market is limited.
I like the style of the 530's but would never get a set as theres just too many people running them + the mods involved mean a bucket load of work just to fit some wheels.

I bent the original wheels on my 2012 STI through a bit of light abuse! A work mate that has a car in the British drift championship with xxr's on recommended them. So I put some 527's on and I haven't had any issues with them. They are cheap they cost a fraction of the price of the oz's I was going to get but they have been on for 2 years and they still look as they did went I got them but more importantly they aren't bent.
about that but
about that but

firstly according to you pf7s were made by innovit which as usual is completely wrong
secondly the paint is utter crap and far better on pf7s which i dont have either but like the xxr s i have had in the past.
i speak from experience having had them not from a magic tree sniffing immicunt high

Gents, thank you for your opinions and experiences As always it's much appreciated.
I think my attentions will be turned elsewhere, mainly because i don't want to have the modern day version of TSW Venoms
