That'll have cost a canny penny! This ones just had a bottom end rebuild. The only thing ive had a problem with is oily water in the wheel well. Hope its nowt serious, ive just cleaned it all out today and hope it doesnt reappear.

The previous owner just had it all done, had only done 50 miles on new engine so I've had to run it in lol. The wheel well in the boot? I'm sure this is a common problem due to a rubber seal failure?

I'm not entirely sure about the seal mate? I vaguely remember reading it somewhere.

That makes sense then as it's normally parked up on a night time but nowhere to be seen over the weekend. I live at the other end of the estate from where you got it.

It's a lovely looking car. The wheels are the softer spoked MO6, one of my favourites and really set the car off!

Does anyone know what standard boost should be? And also what is the bracket for just under the gearbox and propshaft at the front? Theres a bolt im guessing is stripped and ut rattles when hit with my hand. This isnt the gearbox mount is it? It goes under the exhaust and propshaft/gearbox itself.

32 is a good age to buy your first Scooby. Like I've just done!

Nice motor! Some John Player Special decals would go well on that.

Not a great fan of your headlights but that appears to be a clean and very tastefully modded car. Black and gold always makes me think "John Player Special" too.

With uprated power you may wish to invest in some brakes to match, if that hasn't been done already. A good fix is to fit a set of STI Brembos from a pre-widetrack Blob or Bug.

Cheers fellas. Jps colours.... i never thought of that! Yeah the brakes are a bit iffy but im looking at servicing the car first, then replacing te engine mounts with uprated one and ive looked into the godspeed big brake kit. I quite fancy that and will service both front and rear caliper sets with upgraded discs and pads for the rear. Theres enough power in the car for me for now so im just going to upgrade as much as i can with the chassis.

Nice car bud, those wheels look great in that colour.

Do you know if the car has been mapped those engine mods? If it hasn't I'd get it looked at sharpish.

Oh yeah its been mapped. I have a printout for 300hp but the fella i bought it of said it was 340 ish as the printout was off 2010 when the first owner had it. It runs well although im going to service it and look into a few upgrades. Id like to get it on the rollers to see what it is actually producing. It got away from my mates focus rs with a few tweeks so its quick enough for me........for now.
