What price an import MY00?
#1
With a potential change of location employment wise in the offing I decided, much against my better judgement, to consider trading in my mint MY00, X reg with 6500 miles on the clock, for a BMW 2.0 diesel (I know alright )
I was offered £12,000.
I could sell them at that price myself with a bit on top for my troubles...any offers..
Think I might be putting up with the fuel bills for a while yet..it is the best car I'm ever likely to own after all
Anybody else had derisory offers?

Hey CLS theres no real reason why you should not be able to get a private sale price of a £1000 to £2000max less than UK car of the same age and mileage.
Afterall the publics view on imports has drastically changed, and Scooby dealers welcome them with open arms
The only thing you might consider doing is to buy an extra years warranty from a renowned private company, and one that lets you have reapirs done at main dealers.
Sell privately.
Good luck
