One thing I have always wanted to add to my Hawk was the roof/vane spoiler.
Many time I have been tempted the the after market ones, but was never convinced withe the fitting and fixing of them.
And seeing the fitting guides drilling through three layers of the C pillar just did not appeal.
Following advice from a couple of people on here, I decided to just hang fire for an OEM aluminium one.
Well just over a year later, one finally came up for sale and was purchased. Already in O2c blue end caps.
Various searched on the net gave me to locations of the holes, so they were drilled and rivnuts fitted, and bolted from the outside.
Job done

exactly what i did.
i looked at a few aftermarket ones and they where all ****. either not curved or droop in middle etc.
took me a year but worth it in the end and the ONLY way is to rivnut fit, dave w had an aftermarket one glued to the car by c and k motors which fell off at 70 m.p.h.

It's currently wired to a on off switch ( additional fog light switch, to fit in and not look odd with wiper graphic)
Getting the wiring of the relay is proving challenging, waiting to a JDM breaker to get the loom.
This is what I have fitted

you are aware the wiper and indicator stalks are on opposite sides on jdm cars too.(if youre planning to wire to oem stalk)

Yes I am. Not sure if I have that much JDM envy in me

but actually if I manage to get the bits and bobs I might have a go at it as a bit of a project as currently I have nothing on..

I am a bit of a "if its doable have a go" person
Only happy when doing pointless jobs. But still a practicle one too.

The real challenge has been locating a JDM Hawkeye wiring diagram, that is like rocking horse poo, and I'm still hunting now.

People will have to learn the new indication methods then
Mind you I have had a few exotic cars in my time with random stalks. the Delorean was the JDM way around too...
