As above, upgrading my simtek to Alcatek, has anybody done this before? The Ecu has been with them since early/mid November with an expected turnaround of about 2 weeks.. Now being told "it'll be done by the end of the week" every week for about 3 weeks.. Anyone had this done before? how long did this take? I know they're probably extremely busy but it's holding the whole job up, and it's getting extremely frustrating not having my own car for work, especially at this time of year. Wouldn't mind so much if they were more upfront about delays rather than making promises they can't keep!

My advice would be to hang in there, they won't be fobbing you off but are genuinely very busy, I got mine back within two weeks but I think that's as quick as it can be. It might be worth asking your mapper to put in a word to help things along.
