Default Subaru Impeza WRX - Women's Car

lol, how's it going fellas? Ladies?

Is it me or is the WRX becoming a ladies car..... Or is the gentlemen becoming much softer and letting the Mrs use his car while at work.

I'm seeing more women drivers nowadays hence the comment

Your lucky to see a y subarus on the road
Up In sleepy Cumbria I I my see them on a Sunday as hey have become a weekend car only

10 /14 years ago they were every where

Most have been hidden in the garages for long term investemnts
been broken for spares
Rusted away
or 2.5 melted pistons Have caused early departure
Dump valves might have caused people embarrisment to drive them ,unless your going to McDonald's

You'll have women tied to the sink and only used for baby production next. I am surprised your not complaining that there are too many of them and they need culling!

Statistically they crash less than men these baby machine things.

Be gone wench and make my supper!

Men crash due to being stupid, women crash due to lack of ability. For example, a good amount of women crash when turning right at a junction, far more than men.

Just being playful and you may well be correct but...........I've ridden bikes, driven cars, buses (round busy towns), coaches, trucks from small to 8 leggers in all sorts of very demanding conditions such as quarrys etc, class 1 including abnormal loads upto 80 tonne, tractors and all manner of plant mechinery covering about 600,000 miles (at my last count a few years ago) which was mostly done on unfamiliar roads across the UK and lreland and have NEVER had a accident/crash etc and I'm only a young lad so still time to improve.
plus passed all 5 driving tests first time.

Just saying

Going back to the original post, if I've been out in the week I've seen a few impreza's driven by women, but I think there mainly there husband's cars driving them while there husband's at work.

It's all good news, as means more impreza's will last longer due to the women driving them nicely

look at all the STI owner's ***** waving, all they are trying to do is justify the extra outlay to themselves

yep, I've got a WRX. if i wanted an STI, I'd buy one. if I wanted a JDM, I'd buy one. if I wanted a 2015 STI, I'd buy one.

I'd rather pay £30k extra on my mortgage in 3 years than have a new STI. oh, I've already done that

So what exactly is it that you've turned your STI into.

Fake wide track with Spec C interior and roof flap, is there some Wide Track JDM envy going on with your poverty spec non-widetrack UK STI.

Put it this way, going back when I was one make racing, we entered her in a race at Silverstone. Despite it being her only time on a race track and the first time she'd sat in my car she won it, and got the driver of the day award. She never bothered again, preferring real Horse power.

Lol, I was going to say exactly the same thing in another thread but couldn't be arsed (well, that and the fact that due to Mrs rowdys incompetence the car now wears a widetrack rear bumper and did have widetrack wheelarch lips until a little bit more incompetence from Mrs rowdy )

I would say that most blokes probably would rather an sti, whereas the ladies either don't care or wouldn't be seen dead in the more 'look at me, I've just come off a rally stage' styling of an sti.
This is why WRX seem to be more popular with women and the elderly, although I did park next to a blob sti in homebase the other day, and when I came out the guy that got in it was about 70 years old. Sounded like a bag of spanners when he started it up though, oh the piston slap sounded horrendous. Wonder if he bought it from Cheshire

P!ss poor effort at a comeback, even by your standards.

FYI, CDB sorted just waiting on a final price inc shipping, and heads are pretty much sorted too, so

Nice try at changing the subject but no cigar.

I have always said I'll do the Type R in a few years when I have finished the apartments I'm currently building and no longer require a practical vehicle, I'm still picking bits up for that though as and when they pop up, most recent was a set of lamco gauges and orange lable maf, standard ecu, so I suppose I could say it is actually on going, I only need a bonnet and rear spoiler and the car is complete again, just waiting for them to pop up at the right price and colour.

Anyway we digress and you didn't answer the original question about your poverty spec old sti wearing a fancy frock and not being able to sell it, so ended up keeping it, do you think that's because it's a bit like mutton dressed as lamb.
