Default Exhaust

I have a jap speed exhaust on my Subaru Impreza non turbo classic and it's just all noise it does have that nice sound eg when u hear it doesn't have the nice subaru sound is it the exhaust or is it because it's not turbo and just sounds like every other car

someone correct me if i'm wrong but i believe the non turbos have equal length headers and the only way to get the 'burble' is to swap them out for unequal length headers.

Of what I've read there the same length so an unequal one will give me that nice sound ?

Yes your wrong its called exhaust manifold were not in the USA you know

Non turbo engines have unequal length headers. Take the undertray off and take a look. My non turbo bugeye with a prodrive backbox sounded lush.

i don't think they do???
our Classic GL doesn't and looking at posts throughout the net it seems a similar story for most. you sure your manifold hasn't been changed at some point?
