oil in the wrong places
I fitted a samco y pipe earlier and whilst I had the intercooler off I found oil.
I checked all down the back of the engine block under the intercooler and there is nothing. The outside of the standard y pipe was gunky air box end, but there was oil throttle body end of the intercooler.
I have pics but I cant remember how to include them, remembered now.
Where could the oil be coming from? I have my suspicions but want to see what the general concensous is.
My car doesnt burn oil, it seems to run fine, better since i fitted the y pipe and cleaned the oil out.

Cool so fingers crossed it's just a bit of build up over time. I'll keep an eye on it.
I check the oil level reguarly and it hasn't moved since I did the oil change.
Sounds like it mite be a good idea to check through the breather houses and see how they are and aren't clogged. Just to confirm the hoses go from where to where?
