Just wondering has anyone ever had a successful claim under Subaru Anti-Corrosion Warranty?

Reason being I have seen quite a few newage (2004-2006) beginning to rust on wheel arch's / wings / roof etc..

I'm not sure what time limit there is on these models for Anti-Corrosion however was wondering if anyone had raised a claim and how it went?

No doubt they would scrutinize the car (all serviced carried out by Subaru / All Checks on time / Original Paintwork etc..) BUT do they come good in the end or not?

I had a 2008 Golf GTi that had rust bubbling on the wheel arch's which was taken and repaired by VW pretty much without any hassle.

Problem with that warranty is that the car has to have an update to date body inspection just like the service schedule.
No one usually pays for this check, therefore no warranty
