Default black oil in tmic

Hi can anyone help me While I was changing the tmic today I found black oil sprayed from the hose on the y pipe and when I tipped up the tmic some come from inside it now it wasn't a huge amount probable no more than a table spoon full but is this normal or could I have problems?
Thanks

It is normal but it's still not great. A catch can would solve it

Oil in the cooler is caused by the crank case and head breather system blowing back into the intake, usually after "spirited" driving. If you run your finger around the inside of the inlet theres a good chance you will find residue. Another indication is smoke on start up.
Very basically you take the two breather hoses from the heads and the crank case breather and connect them to a catch tank.

A baffled catch can has a mesh fitted inside to trap oil particals in the airflow which then drain into the bottom of the catch can, without the mesh baffle the CC isn't nearly as effective. A simple system does no more than interrupt the airflow from the crankcase/ heads breathers and is reconnected to the turbo inlet pipe, with the right CC it is extremely effective in stopping oily vapour getting into the air intake.
