Default Bought a UK set of clocks for my KM car

Once fitted will the odometer count in KM or miles? I got one with a very similar mileage 65k on the new set, mine has done 66k when converted from km.

If it will count in KM is it possible to just extract the MPH speed dial and fit that?

This is going to be a ******* isn't it!

If its in MPH it'll count miles.
On the plus side you've just shaved off 1k miles lol

No the fact your car has covered around 66k miles and your new clocks will only show 65k.
Saying that you can get specialist places to match the mileage to make sure it's correct as it may put a future buyer off.

To be fair it's only 1k mileage difference. I'd maybe just document it as best you can. I dare say the next owner might not even notice lol.

Edit: just thinking your service book will probably say 100k+ Km so it may raise a few questions lol

Why would you change the clocks when you can just add a converter and your speedo will register n miles, I have a jam and mine reads in miles on its original speedo.

Its easier to just fit a speedo convertor on the gearbox wiring, this will make your clocks read in MPH and count up in miles and effectively remove the speed limiter aswell. Then get your original mileage on the clocks corrected.
