Genome exhaust scam???
So I found this on eBay,
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=191355365810
and thought I'd try and get it at a good price. Messaged the seller asking for details on the scrape. So far I've had no reply, so went searching for another and found this.subaru impreza sti genome back box
http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-m...box/1084973765 .
Same picture, but one says its in ph6 and the other in Southampton?
Hopefully it's just the wrong postcode on eBay, looks like a genuine account to me. What's the scoobynet massive opinion?

Someone could have been lazy and took a photo offline rather than taking one? But there are a lot of scam people out there. Really good exhausts tho

The eBay seller has feedback of over 1000 and at 100% so I'd trust that one before the gumtree cash advert. Gumtree is full of morons.

Plus the eBay seller is active, 3 positive feedback in the last month. Stick with that one. And you get the PayPal money back guarantee if things go wrong.

I'm hoping it is genuine, and there's a reason he hasn't replied to my messages or declined my cheeky bid. We'll see I suppose.

You can opt out of having questions asked displayed on your eBay ad.

Definitely asked him questions. Not sure why someone wouldn't check an item for sale for 48 hours. Don't suppose anyone knows of another one for sale? Want one to match the gauges I've just bought.

Only gauges worthy of a WR1 imo
I think CAMS in Darwen have a genome exhaust up for sale at the moment so you can always drop them a line if your current venture proves fruitless.

The gumtree pic is taken off a screen if you look closely.

You can see the X at the top right to close the pic on the ebay ad. Its just a photo of the ebay ad.

I'm too fussy, so they had to match the STI dials. Thanks mate I'll keep them in mind if it falls through

Good spot, I've got a message back from the seller so I'll check that he knows about the other listing.
