Default Any Armed Forces Fellows/Relations who are Musicians on here?

Just wondering, Im looking to sell one of my acoustic guitars, which is an extremely special instrument and with the nature of this particular guitar, a current/ex armed forces person would appreciate it, or possibly a relative, or like me, bought in remembrance for all those who have died in conflict.

Price wise is around 2.5K

PM me if so...

Yep. Obviously.

So what makes it worth 2.5K?

The OP might get a few more interested parties if there was a reason for the 2.5K part.

I'm not in the forces, but I am involved on the music side. I don't know this "trinity" chap at all, so 2.5K for an internet randomer seems a bit steep.

If its of no interest to you, there is no need to explain to you.

If you are interested, you can PM me for further details. Simples.

Ive had a few emails from good people, and that was the intention, so hopefully someone will end up with this amazing instrument before it gets sold elsewhere.

"very special" is subjective
Hence my interest to know how, or why it's worth 2.5K. A High price tag does not always equal a good guitar (Gibson anyone?) Let alone a special one.

Its not subjective at all.Only those who know very little of instruments would feel 'very special' is subjective.

Very special is very special.

Of course it's subjective but I give up. Best of luck with the sale. You might need it. God forbid you might want to have a chat about this amazingly special instrument

I've got a special instrument you can have for 5K. Swap your guitar and give me 2.5k and we got a deal. Trust me, its worth it, cos I said so.

Never said I did.

For someone trying to sell something, You'd have thought you'd make more effort. Your approach to this seems odd.

If you want to sell it, have you tried the usual guitar forums? You'll be wanting more detail, but you might sell it

Best of luck

I know how to sell a guitar, I was merely offering it out here to fellow SN members, as I know quite a few served in the forces, or have relations of those that did. It was merely a SN community offering, I already have an offer from a well known guitar shop who valued it.

Whoever is interested gets all the information they need.

Again, if you are not interested in buying, you don't need to reply.

As you said you gave up, please give up!

I think all Jazzy was saying is that if you put up some more info about it you might get more interest.

I know nothing about guitars, but I was in the military so could have been interested in that side of it. However, your post didn't get enough of my attention to warrant sending you a PM so you can relieve me of £2.5k

A couple of lines would have done, for example;

1943 acoustic guitar in good condition
Was used to hit Hitler over the head!

Yeah there wasn't any need to, quite a few interested parties now, which is great.

Genuine interest will send a PM, as they did, I wasnt going to air anything for the scrutiny of the keyboard warriors on SN as this is something that is important to me, more so than a car and I will not bring it into the subject of a troll debate or discussion, which judging by the comments already, I am so glad I didn't.

Thanks for interest though
