Had an email from japanparts ref spec c roof vent

Default Had an email from japanparts ref spec c roof vent

Hey folks

Got an email yesterday from japanparts

As I couldn't find the spec c roof vent on there website

They have added it again but have informed me that these will be discontinued in the near future

I've just placed my order so get them in folks

i think they are just running down stock, its not a part a lot of owners buy due to the cost and fitting issues.
the cost on the site is only half of it, then you need to pay import duty and get the ****** fitted.

that said its a great mod and as a wrx owner with a stick on ebay vent told me.

"whats the point when you can get a stick on ebay one for ten times less"


this is the difference between the enthusiast and the sioc boys
if you have too ask you wont understand.....

But thought car makers only kept making or held stock of items upto 10 years or so

Also sure they get there parts direct from subaru

As when I wanted some Prova items they had to order them for me

Could be wrong

But had to buy it just in case

Your lucky as I've got to get the ****** painted too lol

i know i had one of the last wr blue ones and that was over 2 years ago now.
not sure on the ten year thing but if thats true the vent is the same on bugs through to hawks so they should keep it for a couple more years.
any luck on seats yet?

Ah totally forgot about the hawk should be good for a few years then

No luck at all still searching spoke to jap parts they have forester ones but the pattern on the seats look different to the impreza ones

you are aware that the wr1 is the same?, no airbags at all as i saw someone claimed.
the front seats were identical to my blue sti ones bar the colour and the rear has the armrest ski hatch too.

Yeah was aware but there doesn't seem to be much wr1 being broken at the moment will hold out and see what's about there isn't any rush

Not sure of price from subaru but the parts guy there said I didnt have to pay import duty if I ordered through them

My uncles friend works for Subaru, they moved premises and skipped loads of stuff, i heard few months after it happened. Gutted
