Ive been Subaru cold turkey for 5 months now, and I look everyday on here Pistonheads/e-bay etc, tbh in the 5 months there's only been maybe 1-2 cars that I could see myself owning/driving, but like you said, it has to be something special this time around!!!

Sold my STi 3 months ago. Said never again due to a few little unlucky niggles which cost ££££.

Bought a mint 2005 Widetrack again on Friday.

Just can't get much better for the money. (Not that I'm biased)

I had to get another car as a family runabout, so I bought a 2008 Toyota Prius. As I was driving it home I thought that if I had sold my Scooby for this I would be crying, thanks to an understanding wife my Widetrack STI is still in the garage at home. All the best for getting another motor mate.

My Impreza has been garaged up for nearly a year now and driving a mapped 530d may not be the quickest but I don't worry about not being in my Impreza.

Problem is I had a Focus RS, and the reason I got rid was because other then dry weather the car was terrible due to it being FWD.

Dont get me wrong I loved it on a nice dry day, and easy was one of the best cars Ive owned, but winter time comes and you just start to miss the 4wd from the Impreza!!

Yeah definitely would miss the 4wd in winter. Hopefully my next car will be a toy though and not my everyday car so I'll not be driving it in winter

A 400bhp focus RS is mental once you get the power down. 2 of my mates have them a white one tuned by motune pushing 430bhp and the other is lime green and is tuned with quality parts off the shelf then professionally mapped and that's pushing 420bhp both quick cars and sound nice but fwd and 400+bhp scares me lol. I heard on a tv programme about 5-10 years ago a chief Alfa Romeo engineer saying that anything over 250+ bhp in a fwd is pointless as the car would become to much to handle and would become difficult to drive and to drive it to its potential (no wheel spin etc) would be difficult. He didn't say it couldn't be done but in his opinion it would be pointless.

They have had a lot of good feedback. The guy (forgot name) has been dealing in Scooby's for some time now and does know how to pick them.

They are slightly over prices (not my words) but you pay more for quality.

Pays ya money... takes ya chance.
