I don't think anyone would buy a car on someone else's say-so but given the threads regarding hopelessly (fraudently?) over-described cars (none of which afaIk relate to Hurst) I think it's at least helpful to check the basics for someone - rusty arches, general condition, take a few pics and ask a few questions that anyone would.
Op could even provide a list of things they'd like checked.
In a strange way that's how I went about buying mine, sort of.

ive had some very helpful input by a couple of members and a thanks to the rest that have said they are willing to help out.
im currently trying to find a way for me to get over there to view the car for myself now that ive had some idea of what its like.. im hoping I can sort something out for this weekend.

They way that I have purchased my last few cars, get high res pics, ask the owner to walk around the car whilst on the phone pointing out any defects, include every little detail, every mark etc.
Buy in principle over the phone at a price, then go with the view to collecting based on what you've been told, if anything minor has been missed knock it off the price, if anything is seriously wrong then the seller can cover your travel costs.
That arrangement has worked for me. The last one the owner missed a single car park ding which was hard to spot, but I spotted it upon close inspection and it was taken off the agreed price.
