GC8 FRONT WASHER FAILURE
Hey guys I would much appreciate a push in the right direction on where I can buy a new front washer pump for my 96 impreza sti gc8.
The rear washer is still working so I just put an assumption the the motor is gone?! No noise when I push the button either.
Thanks
Adrian

Usually NOT gone.
Try the following:
Remove washer reservoir, remove pump, backflush with hot water. Make sure the little impellor will turn.
Once that's OK, check the electrical connector, they tend to get manky and can corrode.
While the pump is off, FLASH it across the battery terminals with a piece of wire. Don't leave it running dry. If it doesn't go with that, then yes, new pump.
ebay is your friend, they are generic.
