It is the end of the Week and Scoobysport is still not working!!
#1
There was another thread on here the other day, and someone posted a message saying that ScoobySport would be back up at the end of the week........well where is it?
Maybe it is sort of a ScoobyTrend to not have your online shop working, maybe ScoobyNet and ScoobySport are competing to see who can have there shop offline for the longest.
I know other people have already had a moan about this, but I thought I'd have one too

If you havn't got anything else to moan about ring TXU Energy who have banned the St George Cross flags from their Vans in case it offends or incites racial tension
The Guys at Scoobysport are on the end of a phone if you need something that urgently RING THEM
I am sure Pete will apolagise if he you ring HIM

Pete posted a message up saying:-
If you want to get hold of them then either, drop them an e-mail (info@scoobysport.co.uk) give them a call (01268 590085).
Shouldn't be long now, hopefully towards the end of this week.
We've got lots of new products which have needed photographing and describing, so its taken longer than planned.

Calm down, its only a discussion forum.
The reason why I don't call them, or send them an email, is because I want to look at everything they sell and how much they sell it for. I'm not looking for anything specific. Most people just browse catalogues just to see whats for sale and for how much.
Cheers for the info though IanW.
And Phil, there are alot of people out there that think that alot of people from Scoobynet are annoying, unfriendly idiots. Perhaps we could change this if some peoples first reaction was NOT to insult people when all we want to do is talk to other Scooby owners.

And if you actually read the rest of the post you would have seen my reply saying that it would be a couple of weeks yet.
On a more pleasant note than the tone of this post, Pete has sent all of the new content through this morning so the new site will be well on its way this afternoon. We have literally hundreds of new photos, products, and descriptions to use in the new site so it is just a case now of building the new content in.
All of next week will be spent re-designing the new site and entering the new content, and Pete and I have discussed it and feel we should involve the Scoobynet community throughout the process.
Therefore, during the redesign phase starting on Monday i will be posting up progress reports and asking for feedback on the new site from all of you guys, as you are the ones who will be using the site.
Thanks in advance for any help with this, and RB patience is a virtue - Rome wasn't built in a day as they say

For what it's worth DreamWeaver I'm looking forward to it and am sure you will do a great job - take all the time you need to get it right.
I'll be watching next week to lend my 2p on the ongoing design
DaveR
PS then I may even dust off the credit card ....

Guys,
look at this!
some person with real ***** sent me this!
It could have been me as the spelling is as bad as mine, but it wasnt.
"I thought I'd send this email because I have read a couple
of your posts on Scoobynet, and I think you're a ****!
If you wanted to uphold the crap name that Essex people
have, you are going the right way about it.
Be careful, advertising how much of a ****** you are to
people you don't know, could get you into serious trouble.
Regards
Your nemisis
PS. You're a ****.

It is very frightening being threatened by a faceless email address.
I was thinking about hiring some heavy hitting email addresses like
hard@rse.com or headc@se.org
just for protection.
edited, cos I screwed up my punchline!

Why do people have to take these matters too far!
For Gods sake guys, we are all on this website because we share a love for Scooby's, and the only reason why peoples email addresses are made public is to help people with a common interest, communicate with each other.
There is enough pointless abuse in this forum as it is without taking things any further. Stop hiding behind your computer screens and go out and have some fun instead of trying to p*ss people off who you don't know.
I bet you wouldn't have said what you sent to Adam to his face. Grow up, come along to the meets, and have a drink with everyone instead.

Adam, now this is elitist: you've got your own scoobynet stalker.
More seriously, there has been a successful prosecution of someone in the UK for sending abusive mail that, admittedly, was slightly worse than what you received. Find the IP address it was posted from, look at ripe, get onto the ISP, ask for disclosure in accordance with the law and you'll soon get to the bottom of it.
Can't remember if the chap was arrested or just cautioned, but the police certainly felt his shoulder.
So, whoever did it - not clever, not necessary. If you've got something to say, do so outright not behind false anonymity.
A bit off topic this, innit?

I thought it quite funny.
it was posted from adam_is_a_cock@adam_is_a_cock.com!
Someone was seriously prodecuted for that? Thats like all this text message bullying.
LOL. I bet the guy would say it to my face. I am hardly the most threatening person to look at. Offensive yes, but not threatening.
