Hi all.
Just a quickie (oh er mrs) lol I have a wide track sti and gonna change the air filter. The one in there is red (is this one of them reuse performance ones? )
Also is there a different between sti and wrx can I pop to halfrauds and pick one up off the shelf?
Many thanks all.

Loads of Youtube guides as to how to change the air filter on the STi, it's not particularly hard.
I bought mine from Lateral Performance, a Cosworth one. But Halfords also seems to do filters - if you pop in your reg number online it tells you which filter fits, but I'm not aware of a difference in size.
While you're doing it you may as well change your pollen filter, mine was a state upon closer inspection.

Yeah I done my pollen filter as soon as I got the car it didn't look like it had been changed since day one! Lol
I got a air filter from Halford but before I put it in I just wondered if there was a difference between wrx one and sti as you know what Halford is like sometimes with parts lol
Thanks for the reply matey

Easy enough to do mate. I think if I remember rightly the cabin filter was more fiddly as had to disconnect a cable etc and be careful of the glove box opening it up inside etc
Cheers
