Default Classic For sale

Hi guys!
Sadly the time has come for me to sell my 1997 classic import in silver.
The reason why I'm writing here is because I don't have any idea how much should I ask for it.
The body work isn't in best shape because there used to be a stickers all over it, but car has few goodies that are worth a bit.
Modifications are
Walbro fuel pump
440cc injectors
ngk spark plugs
td05h turbo
bloob eye exhaust headers
decat downpipe
Full exhaust
front mount intercooler
cold air intake
It is all managened by Simtec ecu with anti lag and launch controll enabled maped by Cp autos.
It has 3 point boost solenoid
Goodridge braided brake lines
apexi lowering springs
In interior it has bucket seats with 4 point Takata harness and suede steering wheel with sparco snap - off wheel hub.
Body work is pretty standard except classic carbon fibre spoiler.
Engine itself is great...clock is showing 150k but engine was swapped for one with 70k on.
Car is currently Sorn so please help me to get approximate value.
I know I could sell it for moore if I break it but I just can't do that because I owned it for past 6 years and it would be easier to see let it go in one piece.
Thanks for help in advance.

Firstly, sadly the time has come to part with the £2 or so it costs to advertise

Anyway, on the serious side, in order for you to get the most out your ad I think there's a few things you could change (and some to include):

  • You say the bodywork's not the best but refer to stickers etc.
So is it only paintwork that's poor?
Are the usual suspect spots rust-free?
Adding 'rust-free' (if it is in good condition) would attract more people.
  • What bhp is it running, and do you have proof of mapping and possibly dyno'd?
    (Another question buyers always ask).
Perhaps it might be worth your while getting it dyno'd if it's running a good bit more than standard - only a small price to pauy for the value it would add.
  • Do you have the receipts for the engine changeover etc.?
  • Any MoT history, advisories etc?
A lot of buyers give more priority to reliability and the prospect of the car not needing loads of money piled into it than goodies etc. so a few things to persuade them that yours is the best of both worlds (taking account of age and price) would help imo.

Hopefully you can then get very close to the value already mentioned.

GLWTS.

Thanks for your opinions guys.
To be perfectly perfectly honest I don't have any proof of the engine swap because it was done in my friends garage..after hours. ..if you know what I mean.
And I have MOT' s for past 6-7 years.
with the body work...I can't say It's rust free because overall it's all right but there is some rust on a b pillar.
I am pretty sure that if anyone buys a car it is gonna be for parts although I would be happy to see it in a pride it deserves.
